Having officially launched on May 18th, this 5-week Bajan summer festival is now in full swing!
Crop Over, Barbados' annual Carnival,originated in the 1780's during the 'Sugar Boom' when Barbados was the world's largest producer of suger. Every successful season would be celebrated to mark the end of the harvest -the Crop Over celebration.
Barbados attracts thousands to their shores each year for the festivities that includes a Street Parade in sexy costumes, Calypso competitions for young and old and sweet Pan! ; Couldn't make it to Barbados this year or can't stay for all of the activities?
