The Trinidad & Tobago's ruling party, the People's National Movement has just named their first 10 candidates to contest the upcoming General Elections later this month.
Candidates named included Esther Le Gendre as representative for the controversial seat of Tunapuna. Tunapuna constituents were up in arms earlier this year when their beloved Eddie Hart was said to be declined for the seat based on the polls conducted by the PNM Executive.
First 10 candidates named are:
Couva North - Nal Ramsingh
Tobago East - Rene Dumas
Princes Town South/Tableland - Peter Colderich Taylor
Arouca/Maloney - Alicia Hospedales
Arima - Penelope Beckles
Oropouche East - Shaffique Mohammed
La Brea - Fitzgerald Jeffrey
San Juan/Barataria - Joseph Ross
Siparia - Rampersad Lutchman
Tunapuna - Esther Le Gendre
