Votes are still being tabulated for the 2007 Trinidad and Tobago Elections however, preliminary results indicate a victory for the People's National Movement.
With almost one third of the total votes counted, the PNM are leading by a decisive margin with the United National Congress Alliance (UNC-A) 2nd and the Congress Of the People (COP) a close 3rd.
In an interview by CNC3's correspondent, the UNC-A's co-leader Basdeo Panday seemed to have accepted the post of Opposition with Winston Dookeran of the COP conceding to both parties. Final tally will determine official results.
Trinidad and Tobago had 990,352 eligible voters this elections.
