Who will take the bragging rights from 103FM's reigning Curry Duck Team, The Duck Soldiers headed by Sham Basdeo?

Even if you're like me and still can't cook curry duck good enough to enter the competition, you can still be a winner... or should I say wine-er!? Just walk with your 'Chutney waistline' to enjoy the entertainment!

Entertainment kicks off at 12noon this Sunday August 24th, 2008 at Chagvillle Beach, Chaguaramas with the one and only Spread Pal Crew band featuring DJ Lalloo.

- Salis Sagram, Spread Pal Crew's lead female vocal
- Devanand Gattoo, Veteran Chutney Singer

If you can't make it to 103FM's Annual River Lime and Curry Duck Competition this year, don't worry! 103FM will be bringing you LIVE coverage from 2-6pm.

The broadcast will start with 103FM's LIVE commentary of the Curry Duck competition judging then take you front row centre, to enjoy the Chutney River Lime! The WINNER of the Curry Duck competition should be announced between 4-5pm so you can get more of the Chutney music you love, LIVE from Chagville Beach, before ending at 6pm.

The Caribbean Festival of Arts (CariFestA) 2008 opens tomorrow, August 22nd 2008 in Guyana

How appropriate for this Festival to celebrate it's 10th birthday in the country where it was born!

If you are unable to make it to Guyana to witness Carifesta X's Grand Opening Ceremony tomorrow, don't worry, NCN TV will bring you LIVE coverage from 4pm, local Guyana time. So sit back and be entertained with 5 full hours of LIVE coverage of Carifesta 2008!

NCN knows tomorrow's a work/school day for most of you so they've conveniently scheduled a 4 hour rebroadcast of the Carifesta X Opening Ceremony on Saturday (23/8/08) from 8am.

Last year's host country, Trinidad & Tobago will be the first on display from 12noon on Saturday 23rd August, with coverage including the Carifesta X Super Concert until 1am.
